Our Story

We are Niki and Toby, a British couple, who, for many years, yearned for a life in a warmer climate to set up a permaculture project and to live in harmony with the land and our wider community.

Toby’s background is in software engineering and geology and Niki’s background is in social work, NGO’s and various eco and humanitarian projects.

Our dreams came true in 2019 when we bought a beautiful stone farmhouse surrounded by ten acres of meadows and woodland in near the medieval village of Penne d'Agenais in the Lot-et-Garonne.

We have since been designing permaculture systems to the land and have hosted a number of courses, as well as set up an eco-campsite. In 2022 we got married in the roundhouse that was built during a course in 2021.

We warmly welcome you to share our rustic eco campsite, to facilitate or attend courses relating to learning and well-being. You can explore and learn in the stone buildings and shady walnut woodlands, observe the wild surroundings and camp out under the trees near our stone farmhouse.
